We gave her all the time and comfort she needed to put her trust in the hands that care for her and were rewarded with her trust. She wasn't easy to subdue, but after surviving to get to safety, we're not surprised she's still uncomfortable in new situations.
This is why a quiet home with experienced adults and children over 12 will be essential to continue the work we started with her. Give her time and treats and she will purr for you the same way. If your heart is open to offering her a peaceful place where she can calm down, she is ready to put her past strife behind her and join you in a calm rage.
